One of the biggest influences in our decision to move and settle in Fredonia lives just .62 miles away: Andrew's parents/Ben's Grandmom and Granddad. Not only did they help us pick out our house, but before we moved in they worked tirelessly to clean it up, painted our bedroom and decorated the front porch with beautiful flowers.
Now that we are here and settled, we see them almost everyday (Andrew does see them everyday because they are his bosses). Not only do they work across the street but we also enjoy sharing meals with them at least once, if not twice a week. Sharon decorated a grandbaby room in her house complete with a crib so Ben is welcome there for naps and has a place to sleep if we are there late watching a Sabres game.
Both Daryl and Sharon are always willing to help out, are generous with their time and love to shower love on both our little boy and us. We all think it is pretty wonderful that Ben (and future siblings) will get to grow up just down the road from two amazing individuals.
